Happy Father's Day/Birthday to Mommy!

We had an eventful weekend at the cabin last weekend! We celebrated my big 2-9 on Saturday and Father's Day on Sunday! We took a trip to Zorbaz by boat on Saturday to have some delicious pizza and enjoy my free birthday bloody mary! Alaina LOVES Zorbaz as mush as her momma & daddy do, which is good because we can hardly go to the cabin without a trip to get some pizza! Saturday night g'ma & g'pa Mac and Sarah Thell watched Alaina while we celebrated! We had a nice "booze cruise" around the lake and then headed to Moonlight Bay for some great people watching, a (few) pitchers of beer and a few spins on the dance floor! But, the most important part of the weekend was FATHER'S DAY! We spent some time on g'ma & g'pa's new toy they bought for the cabin, hid under the boat lift from the rain and eventually the sun came out so we took a couple dips in the lake! Alaina got to spend some quality time with all her daddy's on Sunday, the most important daddy - Brian, her grand-daddy Mac and then her Pappa Wiech on Sunday night for dinner! Thanks everyone for a great weekend!

Popsicles & A Pony!

Now that summer is here, it is time for some popsicles and ponytails... Alaina figured out how hard it is to keep the popsicles in her hand and I figured out how hard it will be to keep a ponytail in her hair! The pony lasted a whole 30 seconds! I'm hoping for 5 minutes this weekend!

Play Date with the Swanson's!

Our weekend started out just perfect! We had a play date on Friday night with Pete, Lori and Ryan! Ryan and Alaina didn't play much together, but Ryan enjoyed playing with Alaina's girlie toys! Alaina just watched him, followed him around and snuck in a hug or kiss whenever she could! After the kids went to bed, the adults had our own play date in the garage! We had a great time listening to Pete and Dustin's hilarious stories, talking about life and of course having a few(too many) cocktails! We had a great time and can't wait to do it again soon!

Escape!

I had a very interesting morning on Thursday! Brian left for work @ 6:20 and I was just finishing blow drying my hair when all of the sudden someone pushes the bathroom door open... I look over(at my eye level) - no one there? Look down and there stands Alaina, pacifier in her mouth and a blankie in each hand....I immediately think and say shockingly - Alaina what are you doing?.....Ummmm wait...I thought Brian left for work? Oh he must have forgot something and came back to grab it...heard Alaina and decided to grab her for me?.... NOPE! This little turkey decided to climb out of her crib! Must have bumped her head on the rocking chair - notice the red mark on her forehead in picture below...AND notice how funny she thinks it was to climb out of her crib and come surprise me! Well there should be no more surprises, the crib is at the lowest level it can go! Happy Thursday Mommy, aren't I cute!

A Shower for Baby Wiech!

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of hosting a baby shower for Amber and baby! The weather wasn't the best, but we still had a great time sharing birth stories, eating tacos, fruit and cake pops! Amber and Jon received great gifts from everyone to help them prepare for the baby! Thanks to everyone who came over to help celebrate baby Gus and shower Amber with Love! We are sooo excited to meet your little guy!.... Only 9 more weeks left!

Can play in the mud too! Daddy was doing some landscaping yesterday and it started to rain again.. so we decided to get dirty! And they can even play with worms!
