2 months old!

It's hard to believe that our little man is already two months old!

He is very far from little though!  Here are his stats from his 2 month check:

Length: 2' .24" long (80.90 percentile)

Kevin & Katie's Wedding in Napa Valley

Brian and I were both in a wedding 2 weeks ago - in Napa Valley.  Luke had his first plane ride and did great!  Grandpa and Grandma Mac came with to be our babysitters for the weekend!  It was an absolutely beautiful wedding!  The weather was perfect, the wine was delicious and almost all of our friends were able to make it!  Thanks Kevin and Katie for letting us be a part of your special day and a HUGE thank you to both grandparents - Denny and Lynne for coming with and taking care of Luke and Mom and Dad for watching Alaina and Maggie!  And Mike and Sarah too, they had Alaina on Saturday and Sunday!  By the sounds of Alaina's tantrum  they had a blast with her... On Sunday night when we got home Alaina had a 20 minute tantrum, screaming I want to sleep at Mike and Sarah's!...So glad she missed us as much as we missed her!

8 weeks old!

Mother's Day!

Unfortunately we waited till the end of the night to take a pic of me and the kids on Mother's Day... Luke was not having it, he just wanted to go to bed!  We had a nice relaxing Mother's Day at home, both grandma's over for lunch with Mike, Sarah, Amber and Eric!  Thanks everyone for a great day!

7 weeks old!

Such a happy content little guy!  Getting over his crabby evenings finally!...Whew that was not fun!

She really does love him!

We had an incident the other night... Alaina threw a book at Luke and hit him in the nose, if you look closely you can see the little scab on his nose...We think she did it out of excitement....lets hope so anyway!  For the most part she is very good with him!  Always talking to him and in his face!  Almost everyday she grabs his cheeks and says "hey you chubby cheekers!" and my absolute favorite is when she says "Hi, wookie, wookie, wookie!" Trying to say Lukey ...so adorable!

Early Mother's Day present!

Happy early Mother's Day to me!  Every year for Mother's Day we go pick out flowers and our hanging baskets and plant them....Brian and Alaina took it over this year and picked out and planted all my flowers a couple weeks early!

Well with all the nursing and pumping going on around here, I guess it's expected?!  She usually just nurses Nessa, but since she'll be going back to work in a few weeks, she needs to start pumping!  LOL!  I've caught Alaina "pumping" a few times, only once did she actually have the machine turned on!....Thank god!

Zoo Day!

Alaina was in need of some one on one time with mommy!  So, we took Luke to Grandma Wiech's for the day and headed to the MN Zoo with Grandma Mac!  We spent the first part of our trip with Auntie Cathy and Lily and then met up with Sas, Grady, Bella, Nikki, Jacob and Nathan.  Alaina had an absolute blast, a Zoo membership is definitely a must again this year, so much fun!
