Pajama Day!

The first Thursday of every month is pj day at school,  I knew Alaina was really excited, but I couldn't figure out why her cheeks were so red!..she had Fifth's disease!  No big deal...she just looked like she'd been slapped across the face for about a week!

I finally figured out how to get pictures of Alaina - tell her she can take a picture of me after!...I am not impressed...but whatever it worked!!  Thought I'd post a few pics of Alaina doing what she loves the most right now - 3 1/2 years old!

Mom bought me and Luke  this cool new toy from a co-worker!  I spend a lot of time driving to get gas and going to the grocery store!  It has also been a big  hit for  all the kiddos in the neighborhood!

Alaina LOVES playing Wii "Just Dance for Kids!"  - so does Luke! - he likes to body surf!

Life is good!



27 weeks!



6 months old!

Luke turned 6 months old today!  He had his 6 month check and weighed 18 lbs. 10 oz.(70th percentile) and he was 28" long (92nd percentile)...We have a big boy on our hands!  He is still the happiest, most adorable little boy ever!  He just started sitting on his own and popped two teeth pretty much right on his 6 month birthday(just like his big sister did on her 6 month birthday!)  Time is going wayyy to fast for mommy, it makes me cry every time he starts something new!

I had to put this one on, because it shows just how long he is!  He is a tall baby boy!

Mornings are a little bit easier now that he can hold his own bottle!

He likes to roll down the hall after his baths!

All set for winter!

But, she is too stubborn to let me take her picture...so this was the best one I got!

Honestly...

I don't know that there is a happier baby...He is the most smiley, happy, content little guy I have ever met!  His big blue eyes, bald head and big smiles melt my heart!

Luke had Vikings day in his class today, he was so happy to sport his purple and yellow!

Finally some food!

Luke has been watching up eat every meal and smaking his lips, so we decided it was time to give him some rice cereal!  He wasn't too sure about this stuff starting out, but by the end he was one happy camper!

What do I do with this stuff in my mouth?

Yum, that stuff was good, can't wait to have more tomorrow!

When Daddy told Alaina he was working at the Zoo this Saturday, we decided we must go!...Thankfully Grandma Lynne came along to help with the kids and to make sure we went to the right zoo : )!  I thought he was at the Minnesota Zoo, when it was really Como, either way we had a blast watching him work! 

Lukey had a DR visit before - notice his right eye seems red - he has pink eye!

The Great Minnesota Get Together!

As usual we picked a scorcher of a day to head to the fair!  Alaina and I had a blast people watching and going on rides...Luke slept through most of it and then when he did finally wake up he had an explosion all over his outfit and car seat...and being the prepared mom I am, we had no extra outfit...so it was time to head for home!
