While daddy is away, mommy and kiddo's will play! Since Brian was working in North Dakota last week we headed up to the cabin a little early for Memorial Day. Grandma Lynne and I headed up on Wednesday with Alaina and Luke. Luke's first trip to the cabin - he did great, slept the entire way! We stopped once for a diaper change and to feed him and that was it! We had an awesome weekend relaxing, playing and eating yummy food (as usual)... Thanks Denny and Lynne for helping me with the kids while Brian was away, it was much needed! Alaina was a little confused as to where we were going, she kept asking if we were going to Florida and if we could go to the beach and pool?! I can't remember her exact words, but I believe she said to grandma Lynne, "wow, this place is really nice!" Yes, yes it is Alaina!
At the end of the weekend when we were packing up she asked again "when are we going to Florida?" LOL, the cabin is definitely no Florida, but it definitely is my second favorite place and I think Alaina's too! We can't wait to spend lots of time up there this summer!
