Our Favorite Time of Day!...

When Daddy walks in the door from work! Alaina runs to the door yelling "Daddy Home!, HI DADDY!" Then he usually gets her really wound up and takes off to the shower... Even though she's boucing off the wall... It's still my favorite time of day, I just love watching her light up when daddy walks in the door!

Gone Fishing!

Last night I told Alaina she better practice up her fishing skills for the cabin this weekend! Right about now, she's arriving at the cabin with grandpa and grandma, while here we sit at work!! Mommy and Daddy can't wait to get there to catch a big fishie and eat s'mores with you!

Something happened that's never happened before...After I snapped the pics of her fishing, she kept saying one more!...So, I continued to take pictures of her being silly!

Pretty Nails!

I've been waiting and waiting for Alaina to be old enough to have pretty nails! I was painting my nails on Saturday and Alaina walked in the room and saw me and said mine?! I was thinking it would be a disaster, but she sat very nicely to let them dry! I want to thank Sally Hansen for making the Insta Dry polish, they were literally dry in 3 minutes! So if you see Alaina anytime soon, she'll definitely be showing off her pretty nails!

Did someone say the sun is coming out?

I think Alaina was very excited to see the sun yesterday... she talked about it all night long and then decided to get into the sunscreen right before bed!

For Gramps and Grams!

Shortly after my grandpa and grandma Wiech passed away last year, Brian came up with the great idea to have their names placed on the Twins tradition wall. So, we decided we'd all go up as a family and check it out! We had a great time and I know gramps and grams were smiling down from heaven watching the game with us! Unfortunately they got to watch a 1-0 twins loss...bummer!...Although I don't really think I saw any of the game... Alaina kept me and all the fans around us very entertained! I think we'll hold off on giving her hot chocolate again until she's 10....talk about a sugar rush!

Hungry Duckies!

Since someone...ahem daddy, bought enough buns to feed 50 people(18 invited) to Alaina's birthday party, we decided to share the leftovers with the duckies and geese on Sunday! Not only were these duckies hungry, but they were very happy..mainly the male duckies...the girl duckies seemed a little upset! I think next time we'll go when its not mating season!

Oh wow look at that poor ducky, the boy ones won't leave HER alone! Here come some more ducks!...I hope their nice to that poor girl duck!
