A Trip to the Apple Orchard!

Kristan and I decided to take Alaina and Madeline to the apple orchard on Friday to get apples and pumpkins! It was an okay trip... it was a little too chilly/windy... Alaina did great...even after she was smashed by a 9 year old boy jumping off a hay bail right on top of her!.. Mom was more upset than her.. of course! She didn't even shed a tear!.. See last picture below.. it was taken right after...I think she will enjoy it more next year when she can run around and not get hurt!

All I Want For My 6 Month Pics....

Are my two front teeth!! Yes, just in time for Alaina's six month pictures she got her two front, bottom teeth..(and yes both in one exciting week!) You can't see them in the pictures, but they are slowly coming up!! We had her 6 month pictures taken on Friday and they turned out great, she was sooo happy!!

New Toy Alert!

Alaina's friend Will, told Alaina about this awesome toy below... Alaina begged and begged for it...so here it is... The Little Superstar Sing Along Stage! Alaina and I both agree with Will and his mom... this toy is awesome and will keep her entertained for a while!

Look What I Can Do!

A lot has changed in two weeks!! The biggest accomplishment for Alaina is sitting up!! Second accomplishment is pulling Maggie's hair...I was just waiting for this to start! Third...the johnny jump up - this is her favorite "toy" right now!! I think it gets more exciting for her each day, I love watching and listening to her scream in it! Fourth accomplishment - rice cereal! This gets better each day also... I think? At least I've gotten better anyway.. I realized there was no way I was going to keep this cereal feeding "clean...." Alaina insists on sucking on her fingers after each bite.. which makes for great clean-up after...It is usually in her eyelashes, hair, face completely covered and of course all over the highchair...

Oh yes, and we attended wedding no. 3 last weekend - Justin and Sarah...Moving on to wedding No. 4 this weekend -Ali and Marcus!
