We Love You Grandma!

Grandma,
I wish this didn't have to end so suddenly but I am so glad Alaina got to see you and play peek -a -boo one last time! I'll make sure grandpa gets down on the floor and plays ball with her just like you wanted to! We'll miss you at her birthday party, but I'm sure you'll be watching over. We'll make sure she knows how much you loved and adored her! We love you and are going to miss you sooo much!! Brian, Jenny & Alaina

Mazatlan Blog Day 2!

Hi Grandma,
We had a very busy day today! My mom took off work to take me to visit my day care. After that I had my one year pictures taken, I was sooo smiley and happy! I'm pretty sure they said I was adorable! Then I came home and slept while my mom did the usual OCD cleaning (minus vacuuming the couches)... Then we finished off the night with dinner at Muddy Waters, it was delicious! Hope you're having fun sipping Margarita's... I'm freezing my buns off! Where was that place you took me in January? Can you take me back there please? Love Ya lots, Alaina!

A Blog A Day!

By Grandma Mac's request... I will try to blog each and every day your gone! Updated pics and two walking videos at the end! You'll notice in the first video, Alaina is very proud of her walking! She claps a lot for herself when she's walking around!

Ok which one of the Grandma's taught Alaina to do this little trick??? I'm washing dishes and I turn around to find Alaina standing on the dishwasher door picking out a cup...

I also attached a video of Alaina walking down the hall.... Sorry not sure why it's sideways... I'll get a better one tomorrow! I think she has this walking thing down!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

We've been busy the last two days celebrating the Mac Daddy's big 2-8! Last night we had dinner at Rudy's Redeye Grill with the other Mac's. Tonight we had dinner at home so daddy could be close to the TV to watch curling... After dinner we had cake and ice cream and Alaina really wanted daddy to give her a bite!! ... So did Maggie! I told her exactly one month from today she can dig into her very once slice of cake!! But, I think she might have enjoyed a bite or two when I wasn't in the room... there were a few drips of ice cream found on her chin a little later...Happy Birthday Daddy!

"ONE"

It's hard to believe that one month from today our baby girl will be a year old already!! Where did the time go???

So what is our 11 month old Alaina doing these days?

• Eating anything and everything we giver her
  
• Loving her friend Maggie


• Playing in the snow


• Almost walking - walked all the way down the hall tonight!


• Getting into everything she's not supposed to


• Talking... a lot!... although we can't understand anything but DaDa(I'm still her favorite though)


• Barking at Maggie when Maggie barks! It's pretty cute!


• Popping 4 teeth over the past two weeks (yes it's been fun!)


• Reading lots of books... she loves books!


• Dancing and listening to music.. her second favorite!


• Giggling and being a silly


• Being perfect.

Sea Turtle!

Our little Sea Turtle graduated yesterday from her first set of swimming lessons at the YMCA. Next winter she'll be a big Sea Lion!! Watch out! Alaina loved swimming in the pool with Matthew - the only other baby in the class! She learned lots of fun songs, how to kick, kick, kick, scoop, scoop, scoop, how to jump in the pool, climb out of the pool and of course blow bubbles! She doesn't have it all down yet, but she's getting there! She loves to blow bubbles... just not in the water yet! I think she's ready for lots of swimming at grandpa and grandma Mac's cabin this summer! Good Job Alaina, we are sooo proud of you!!
